Accepting these terms
These terms cover your use of the Bel Air South Spray Foam Insulation website and any insulation work we do for you. When you use the site, ask for a quote or book a job with us, you agree to these terms, so please don't use the site if you don't agree with them.
If a written estimate or agreement for your job says something different from this page, that written document controls for that job.
The services we offer
Bel Air South Spray Foam Insulation is an insulation contractor in Bel Air South, MD. We insulate attics, walls, crawl spaces and basements, remove old insulation, seal air leaks and install vapor barriers for homes and commercial buildings. We're licensed and fully insured.
What you read on this site is general information about the trade. It isn't advice for your particular house, because every attic and crawl space is different and we only know the right plan once we've seen yours. You can read more about who we are on our About page.
Estimates and pricing
We give free quotes on site, with no obligation to hire us. Your estimate is based on what we can see and measure during the visit, and it stays good for the period written on it.
Some problems only show up once the work starts, like old insulation that's wet or full of droppings, damaged framing or vents buried under fill. If we find something that changes the scope or the price, we'll stop, explain it and get your OK before we do any extra work.
Nothing on this website is an offer or a set price for your job. Only a written estimate from us is.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We set your job date with you. Weather, material deliveries and safety on site can push a date back, and if that happens we'll call you as early as we can and set a new date.
On the day of the job, please give our crew clear access to the attic, crawl space or other work areas, and keep kids and pets away from them. For spray foam, you, your family and your pets may need to stay out of the house for a while after we spray. Before the job date, we'll tell you the re-entry time, which is when it's safe to come back in, based on the foam maker's instructions.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, tell us as soon as you can. If we've already ordered special materials for your job or the crew is already on the way, the charges written in your estimate or agreement may apply.
Payment
Payment is due as stated on your estimate, agreement or invoice. Larger jobs or special-order materials may need a deposit, and if so, we'll write that down before the job is booked.
If a payment is late, we may charge late fees and recover collection costs to the extent Maryland law allows.
Our guarantee and warranty limits
Satisfaction guaranteed on every job. If something about our work isn't right, call us at (410) 836-5406 and we'll come back, look at it and make it right.
The insulation, foam and other materials we install carry their makers' warranties, not ours. We'll give you what we have about those warranties so you can use them if you ever need to.
Our guarantee doesn't cover problems from things outside our work, such as roof or plumbing leaks, pests, moisture or mold that was there before we started and that we didn't agree to fix, or later changes someone else makes to the areas we insulated.
Apart from what we put in writing or what the law requires, we give no other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows. The website is provided as is.
Limits on our liability
To the extent Maryland law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses tied to our website or our work, including energy savings you expected and didn't get on your power bill.
For any claim about a job, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't let us limit.
Settling a disagreement
If you have a problem with our work or a bill, please call us first at (410) 836-5406. Most issues get sorted out with a phone call or a visit, and we'll work with you in good faith to fix things.
If we can't settle it together within a reasonable time, either of us can take the matter to a court that has authority over it, including small claims court where the amount qualifies.
Governing law
These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any court case about them will be heard in a state or federal court in Maryland.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time and post the new version on this page. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
For a job you've already signed for, the terms in place when you signed still apply to that job.
